The Hard Boat

Endeavour, our 40’ Lochin was custom built for diving charters in 2003. She is powered by a 700 HP Scania diesel and has a top speed of 30 knots.

Licensed for 12 passengers & 2 crew for up to 60 miles offshore, her cruising range is just over 200 miles.

Her electronic systems for navigation and wreck detection consist of radar, colour sounder, colour plotter, proton magnetometer, auto pilot, DSC VHF and AIS, all interfaced to an onboard computer.

Additional manoeuvrability is provided by a powerful bow thruster.

Her large deck area has been fitted with kitting up benches and a bottle rack which provides storage for spare cylinders.

Exit and entry to the water are by the custom built transom tail lift, which is mounted on the stern.

The large heads which are accessed from the deck and fitted with an electrically operated toilet and hot freshwater shower.

There is no specific ‘dry’ area on the boat and divers are encouraged to make full use of the heated wheelhouse, kettle, microwave oven, colour TV and comfortable seating area found within.
